For foodies looking for a memorable dining experience, Rugged Lane will re-open its doors this coming Friday 27th January after a short break and will be offering new menus which will continue to change monthly, lots more choice and extended opening hours on Sundays.

Rugged Lane has put Castleknock well and truly on the restaurant map with its excellent cuisine and top-notch, friendly service.

Placing an emphasis on seasonal and locally produced ingredients, packed with delightful flavours that will suit all tastebuds and dietary requirements including plant based and coeliac, starters like

Scallops, Cauliflower, Nduja and Pickles, Chicken Liver Parfait, Spiced Pear, Watercress, Walnuts with Sourdough, Pickled Beetroot, Purée, Candied Golden Beetroot with Apple Gel and Cured Salmon, Wasabi Aioli, Pickled Ginger and Wakame Seaweed will ignite your tastebuds.

Mains like Seared Duck, Corn, Forrest Mushroom and Fondant Potato, Monkfish, Cabbage, Velouté and Kale, Roast Cauliflower, Pearl Barley, Onion Puree and Crispy Onions, 6oz Fillet of Dexter Beef Steak, Celeriac, with Jus and Crispy Pork Belly, Carrot Puree and Puy Lentil will put a smile on your face Desserts include Salted Caramel Mascarpone, Apple and Amaretto, Choux Bun, Strawberries and Cream, Meringue, Chocolate Sorbet and Raspberry and beautiful Farmhouse Cheeses will truly make this dining event one to remember.   

Throughout the meal, still and sparkling water is complimentary and there are also wine pairings.
