Guests Enjoy Rooftop Sunshine at The Marker as Dingle Gin Reveals its First New Bottle Design in 13 Years and Introduces New Orange & Sea Salt Flavour

Broadcaster, writer, and media personality Maia Dunphy was the first to arrive at 6 p.m. on the button, spending the evening catching up with fellow guests while soaking up the rooftop sunshine. Also turning heads on the night was social media sensation Adam Kelly, better known as 2BigLugs, who is now one of Ireland’s top three most followed content creators, boasting a combined audience of more than seven million followers across his social platforms. Adam was spotted enjoying a date night with his partner as the pair sampled Dingle Gin cocktails and took in the stunning rooftop setting.

Influencer and PR agency owner Rob Kenny, whose agency was behind the event, was only days off the plane following his stunning South of France wedding to new husband Shane Cassidy. Rob spent the evening catching up with guests and was visibly surprised when Maia Dunphy presented him with a thoughtful wedding gift, a treasured family heirloom of crystal sherry glasses. The unexpected gesture left him both shocked and delighted.

Other notable names enjoying the celebration included interior designer Natasha Rocca Devine, influencer and home interiors creator Caoímhe McGinley, better known to her followers as The Big Hill House, media personalities Miriam Hussey and Tara Murray (FM104), 98FM presenter Paul Ryder, influencer favourites Jo Cluskey, Joyce Porto and recently engaged Pamela Laird, Irish Olympian Jack Woolley, artist Barbara Bennett, yoga guru Allan Muller and internationally successful Irish model Ronan Murphy, signed to IMG models, who has fronted international ad campaigns for the likes of Calvin Klein and Dior.

Irish artist Barbara Bennett was among those admiring the newly unveiled bottle design and praised the craftsmanship behind the redesign.

Speaking at the event, Barbara said: “The new bottle glasswork has the most beautiful ripples throughout, representing the water surrounding the Dingle Peninsula. It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen on a bottle. Huge congratulations to the whole team behind this. The creativity and design is just stunning. Top Irish design to match a top Irish gin.”

The celebrity-filled gathering was hosted to celebrate the launch of Dingle Gin’s breathtaking new bottle design, the first redesign in the brand’s history since its launch 13 years ago. To mark the occasion, The Marker rooftop was transformed into an immersive tribute to the wild beauty of the Dingle Peninsula.

Natural reeds, grasses, moss and foliage inspired by the Dingle Peninsula were used throughout the venue, transporting guests from the heart of Dublin to one of Ireland’s most spectacular landscapes. As the evening sun reflected off the waters of the Grand Canal below, carefully positioned projection mapping created shimmering wave reflections across the walls of the venue, mirroring both the sea surrounding the Dingle Peninsula and the intricate ripple detailing featured throughout the stunning new bottle design.

The event also served as the official unveiling of Dingle Gin’s brand new Orange & Sea Salt flavour, with guests among the first in Ireland to sample the eagerly anticipated new release.

The flavour proved an instant smash hit, quickly becoming one of the most ordered drinks of the evening, second only to the classic Dingle Gin and tonic.

Speaking during the celebrations, Elliot Hughes, Managing Director of the family run Dingle Distillery Group, said: “We have been so excited to reveal our new bottle design today. Years and years have gone into creating this new look, but the time and effort has been so worth it. Our bottles now truly reflect the Dingle Gin brand and the very best of Dingle, the very best of Ireland. The best quality, the best ingredients and now the best design. That is Dingle Gin.

“But we have so much to celebrate tonight as we also introduce our new Orange & Sea Salt Dingle Gin flavour for the first time. I can’t walk three feet tonight without someone stopping me to tell me how delicious the new flavour is. I’ve honestly been smiling ear to ear all evening. This is our first large scale introduction of the new flavour and it’s incredible to see it proving such a smash hit.”

Guests enjoyed a live DJ set from Kelly – Anne Byrne and a selection of exquisite food created by The Marker Hotel’s culinary team, with dishes thoughtfully infused with Dingle Gin, as celebrations continued long into the Dublin summer evening.
