Exclusive Ridge Vineyards wine dinner comes to Lough Eske this November
Fresh from being named to the Irish Independent Hotel Hall of Fame, Harvey’s Point unveils an exclusive November wine experience
Harvey’s Point will bring a taste of California to Donegal this November with an exclusive Ridge Vineyards Wine Pairing Dinner on Wednesday, 4 th November.
Taking place in the Lakeside Restaurant overlooking Lough Eske, the evening will feature a bespoke six-course tasting menu created by Executive Chef Colin Bradley and the Harvey’s Point culinary team, with each course carefully paired with a wine from Ridge Vineyards, one of California’s most respected wineries.
Special guest Katie Blakely, International Sales Director for Ridge Vineyards, will travel to Donegal for the event and guide guests through the wines throughout the evening, sharing the stories behind the vineyards, vintages and winemaking philosophy.
Presented in association with JN Wine, the event has been designed to appeal as much to those who simply enjoy good food and wine as to serious wine enthusiasts.

The idea is to create something that feels relaxed and enjoyable while giving guests the opportunity to experience some exceptional wines alongside a menu created specifically for them by Colin and our culinary team. To have an international wine producer of this calibre represented here on the shores of Lough Eske is very exciting for us, and we hope guests will make a night of it.”
The event comes at an especially positive time for Harvey’s Point, which was named at the weekend among the latest additions to the Irish Independent’s Hotel Hall of Fame.
Niall added “We were absolutely thrilled to see Harvey’s Point included in the Hotel Hall of Fame. It is wonderful recognition for the hotel and, most importantly, for the team who create the Harvey’s Point experience every day. We want to keep building on that recognition by giving people new reasons to come to Donegal, and evenings like this Ridge Vineyards dinner are a great example of that.”
Guests can attend the dinner only or turn the occasion into an overnight November escape.
The evening begins with a welcome drink’s reception at 7.00pm, followed by the six-course wine pairing dinner at 7.30pm.
Dinner and wine pairing is priced at €99 per person.
Stay packages start from €299 per person sharing and include an Executive Suite, the six-course wine pairing experience and breakfast the following morning.
Places are limited and advance booking is recommended.
