Poachers Drinks has picked up several awards at the Bartenders Brand Awards 2022 for their range of premium mixed drinks, made sustainably in Co. Wexford using native Irish ingredients.
Winning a total of 13 medals, six flavours from the Poachers range have been awarded Taste Medals, including a Gold Taste Medal for their Classic Tonic with Irish thyme. All six flavours also won gold medals for their branding.
This recognition by the UK based Bartenders Brand Awards builds on Poachers’ international success at the Spirits Business Global Masters Series last year, with their Wild Tonic beating off competition from 95 products around the world to claim the Taste Master Award in the inaugural Tonic and Mixers category.
Poachers now exports to over eight countries and is available in select retailers and Irish bars and restaurants internationally including Aimsir, Allta, Cask, Bar 1661, Ox in Belfast, and The Richard Corrigan Collection and Homeboy Bars in London.
The Bartenders’ Brand Awards is a blind tasting, design and value-tested competition for spirits, wines, beers and drinks products available within the UK bar industry. Now in its fifth year, the event aims to provide independent reviews for drinks brands that are available in UK cocktail, hotel and restaurant bars.
Brendan Colbert, Founder and Managing Director of Poachers Drinks, said: “We are super excited to have been recognised in the Bartenders Brand Awards. It’s a huge endorsement for the quality of Poachers Drinks from the bartending community internationally. To have won a gold medal for our Classic Tonic with Irish Thyme is fantastic, and every medal won reflects the quality and innovation across the entire Poachers range.”
The Poachers range is available from select retailers nationwide and direct from www.poachersdrinks.com. The bestselling Poachers Mixers Gift Box of five different pre-selected 200ml mixers costs €18, and a 24 case of 200ml bottles of one flavour costs €28 plus shipping in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
